Grüße von Hilde und ManfredVerifiedSOoneXR2023-10-21Beautiful small hotel What a great hotel! Clean and very open and breezy. The staff was awesome, helpful and so nice, anything you need they seemed to have. The breakfast buffet was great, something different every day in addition to the usual stand-bys. We just can't say enough nice things about our stay. La Isla is right off the main street and very convenient for walking. Verifiedvidhusagar2023-06-26Clean smart hotel in a great location Stayed 2 nights and we had 2 rooms on the second floor. Our room had a balcony and a lovely open terrace on the landing with lounge sofas and a bar counter which was not open during our stay. The views across the water were beautiful. The hotel was in a small bylane off the main street of Puerto Ayora and location was a 10/10. Everything was within walking distance and plenty of restaurants and bars around. The main pier for day ferries was a 5 minute walk and the small fishing pier close by was a huge tourist draw in the morning hours. When the fishermen got in their catch , sea lions , Pelicans and Igunas scavenge around and is a sight to watch. The hotel itself was very clean and modern rooms were good size. No elevators but they only have two floors. The third floor had a jacuzzi and some more deck chairs. Breakfast was decent and if you do not go early most of the items get over and are not replenished. Service is a bit shoddy but it's not bad. On both days had to pick up spare napkins and cutlery during breakfast from other tables. A good place to stay on a reasonable budget. Would recommendVerifiedTrekking2023-05-295 plus stars! The photos on the web do not give justice to this perfectly clean, modern, beautiful, well maintained hotel. We stayed in room 404, which had a king bed. My daughter who stayed on the third floor claimed her room to be smaller. Our room and bathroom were large with plenty of space for our many belongings. The AC did not disappoint and cooled to our desired 16-18 degree centigrade. The large windows had the ability to open, although due to the heat and humidity we felt fresh air wasn’t really necessary. Electrical outlets were near the bed and the bathroom had electricity available to plug in my night light. The Internet was somewhat slow, but Netflix managed to download a few Seinfeld episodes after I fell asleep. Perhaps fewer people were online. The staff was lovely and extremely accommodating. There isn’t an elevator, however, our very heavy luggage was carried to the rooms by a very strong, helpful employee. The hotel is close to the center of town and certainly within walking distance to the pier.VerifiedRappToronto2023-05-25Comfortable, central location Excellent hotel. It has a great location - approximately 200 feet from the main tourist area with restaurants and shops. There is a rooftop balcony with a great view of the area. The rooms are comfortable, air conditioned, and well-appointed. The breakfast buffet was fresh and delicious, and they gave us a breakfast to go when we needed to leave early. They stored some of our luggage while we took a trip to Isabela Island for a couple of days. All of our hotels had filtered water to refill our water bottles and avoid plastic waste.VerifiedSagarVS2023-05-24Very nice stay This is a very friendly hotel about 50 feet off the main street and the location is perfect. The rooms and bath are large and comfortable. They also have a restaurant and bar which serves decent food. Breakfast was simple but enough. The girl who handles the reception on Sunday knows nothing and does not try to learn even simple things. VerifiedMichael H Troy, MI2022-11-27Great Hotel Excellent hotel. It has a great location - approximately 200 feet from the center of town. Quiet but so close to everything. There is a rooftop balcony with a great view of the area and several other beautiful areas where one can relax after a busy day of hiking or diving. The entire hotel is beautiful - gorgeous woods and plants everywhere. The rooms are comfortable and well-appointed. The staff is amazing - repeatedly going out of their way to help or otherwise make sure everything is going well. (I tried to tip the front desk, but the lady very graciously refused to take it.) We ate in the hotel twice and the food was fresh and delicious. Overall a great experience. I would stay there again.
